Taking my expertise in manufacturing into account, I wanted to help other people create their own products, so in 2018 I started my second business called Laser Rays Detroit. Laser Rays works with over 100 clients, ranging from independent designers to small business owners working in various fields such as wedding planning, restaurants, engineering, architecture, and so much more. The magic of Laser Rays is realizing the physical version of someone's dream that didn't quite know how to make it or didn't have access to the equipment to do it themselves.
I have overseen the company since its foundation and have been the primary creative director - working with many talented people to see the brand come to life. Laser Rays is a lot of fun, here is some of that work.
Our growing instagram audience is comprised of graphic, product, and interior designers, agencies, engineers, hobbyists, and small businesses. We feature our customer's work highlighting the different services we offer.
In 2022, I led the development of a new Shopify website that allows you to customize off the shelf products such as pins, glasses, and signage. We also have an online quoting service where customers can submit a vector drawing and get an instant quote on a "super custom" project.
Laser Rays has a growing collection of customizable products - orders can be placed directly online by uploading your vector artwork to the website.
We rendered all of the products and made fun rollovers for all of the products.
We have worked with the likes of Ford, New York Times, The NAACP, BBDO, Cranbrook, Bon Bon Bon, City Bird, The City of Detroit, Rose's Fine Foods, Sister Pie, Selden Standard, and so many more! Over 100 clients and climbing!
